Cosmix’s Artistic Scholarships provide up to $5,000 Tuition Assistance. For those who qualify, these artistic scholarships are available for Cosmix’s Master Makeup Artistry Pro and Master Makeup Artistry programs. Both provide training in all the different modalities- beauty, fashion, film, television, theater, and special effects. The longer Master Pro program is a dual-credentialed program and includes training in skin care and licensure as an esthetician.
Applicants must submit a link to an online portfolio, or email a minimum of 6 images to info@cosmix.edu There are 3 types of scholarships:
Creative Potential– all forms of art including makeup artistry and is for non-professional artists.
Professional Artist– drawing, painting, ceramics, clothing design, photography, graphic design, and other art mediums.
Creature Artisan- this category includes character & special makeup effects (injury simulation, aging, hair work, bald caps, zombies & prosthetic appliances, etc. ).

There are thousands of beauty or cosmetology schools that mainly focus on hair. There are only a few specialized make up schools in the country. We are a licensed and accredited professional makeup school in Florida. For over 25 years we have trained thousands of students from all over the world.
Other Scholarships
Students may apply for either an Artistic Scholarship or a Florida Residence Scholarship. Either one of these may be combined with an Industry Professional Scholarship for licensed professionals.
We also offer the Jay Cannistraci Scholarship that awards $10,000 in tuition assistance for the Master or Master Pro Program annually to an individual who shares the passion that fueled Jay Cannistraci in his successful career.
