Whether your dream is to work in film or television, work on runways or become a world-renowned social media sensation, our Summer Teen Camp serves as the ideal launchpad to steer you in the right direction.
Each week, a new guest instructor takes the stage with their unique flair, walking you through the creative processes. They present not just the ‘how’ but the ‘why’, granting you insights into the strategy of transformational makeup that captivates audiences.

WEEK 1: HIGH FASHION GLAM MAKEUP
July 8 – July 12
Immerse yourself in the artistry of timeless makeup applications, perfecting the foundation of beauty. From flawless skin to the iconic cat-eye, these essential skills form the bedrock of diverse makeup artistry and are crucial for layering on more experimental looks.

WEEK 2: THEATRICAL & AVANT-GARDE MAKEUP
July 15 – July 19
You will explore makeup techniques to work in the performing arts- musicals, operas, ballets, and live concerts. Theatrical makeup is about bringing characters to life. You will learn different styles of face painting: sugar skulls, animal designs, and other spooky creatures. Finally, you will create a dramatic Avant-Garde look that will be captured in a professional photo shoot.

WEEK 3: CHARACTER SPECIAL EFFECTS MAKEUP
July 22 – July 26
Dive into the world of special effects makeup, where fantasy collides with reality. Learn how to create gruesome burns, gaping wounds, dirt and sweat. Learn how to apply beards and mustaches.
Imagine sculpting a zombie’s decaying flesh or creating a legendary pirate ready to sail the seven seas.

WEEK 4: SPECIAL EFFECTS MAKEUP + PROSTHETICS
July 29 – August 2
This final week is your playground for exploring the boundaries of makeup, transforming the human form into something mesmerizing, terrifying, or downright fantastical.
The Special Effects + Prosthetics week is the climax of everything you have learned at Teen Summer Camp. Here, you will get hands-on experience with full-face transformations using SFX makeup techniques and prosthetic applications. We provide the expertise to turn your imagination into reality.
Industry professionals lead these sessions, sharing secrets typically reserved for high-level pros.

Teen Camp has limited enrollment. Students completing the entire 4 week Teen Camp will receive a certificate of completion and a $100 Cosmix Store Gift Certificate. Tuition is $595 per week or $2200 for the whole program.
