Make up Artist Training by Seasoned Makeup Artists
You will study under a team of Professional Makeup Artists who have years of experience in the entertainment, fashion, and beauty industries. Our instructors will inspire you as they share their real-world experiences working on feature films, television series, runway shows, music videos, and other events. At many schools, students study under one teacher. At Cosmix, you will learn from many different makeup artists, who shine in their specialty. This is your assurance that you will begin your career with a strong foundation in all areas of artistry.
Avi Ram
Avi started airbrushing t-shirts in Israel when he was 18. He creates designs and airbrushes bodies, canvas, clothes, cars, motorcycles, just about anything. He was a finalist on the Season 2 reality show Skin Wars and winner (the best make up artist) on the Season 2 reality show Global Beauty Masters. He has also competed in many national body-painting competitions. In 2015, he won 1st place in the Face & Body Art International Convention in Orlando, Florida. In 2017, Avi did a camouflage body painting tour in Israel. The 14-location calendar shoot around the country shows off Israeli landmarks and picturesque sites. He has painted many celebrities including Tyra Banks, Rebecca Romijin, and Cardi B.

Marietta Narcisse-Carter
Marietta Carter-Narcisse is a celebrity makeup artist and internationally renowned educator. She began her career in the fashion and beauty industry in the early ‘70s in New York. By 1983, she was an assistant wardrobe stylist on the Commodores’ European Tour and toured with Natalie Cole as her image consultant. She went on to work on many hit music videos, commercials, award-winning television shows and films. Her film credits include: Old Dogs, Baby Boy, The Negotiator, The Red Violin, Sphere, Eve’s Bayou, The Long Kiss Goodnight, A Time to Kill, Strange Days, Tina: What’s Love Got to Do With It?, Malcolm X, Boyz ‘N The Hood, Ghost, and numerous others. A respected expert in her field, Carter-Narcisse has been interviewed by Vogue, Glamour, Premiere, Seventeen, Vogue Hollywood, Panache, Shades of Beauty, First Hold, Makeup Artist Magazine as well as several radio and television shows and newspapers. She has also written numerous articles for industry magazines, reference books, and several internet sites.
Sher Salzman
Sher is a celebrity/ fashion makeup artist/ hair stylist from LA where she was represented by the Zenobia Agency. Her work has been published domestically and internationally in numerous magazines such as Elle, Self, People, US, Playboy,Venue, Vogue (Italia), Taka Q (Japan) and Vital (France). She worked Fashion Week in Milan Italy, the Grammy Awards and the Writers Guild Awards in Los Angeles. Her clients include Matt Damon, Cameron Diaz, Kiefer Sutherland, Jon Voight, Darby Stanchfield, Whoopie Goldberg, Dan Marino and the Wayans Brothers. She has consulted for Estee Lauder in product development and has been a Platform Artist at Trade Shows and Educational events for many different companies.
Liz Scott
Liz is a Makeup Artist, Skin Care Specialist, and Cosplay Constructor. She specializes in special effects, face and body painting, and cosplay. Originally from NY, she worked with Face Art by Melissa, doing events at Madison Square Garden for the NY Knicks and NY Rangers. She provided makeup services for events with the NYC Football Club, the Yankees, Sacs 5th Avenue, Gucci, Google, A&E Entertainment, ABC, and NBC. In Florida, she has worked events for Silly Farm Studios, She has been an instructor for the Face and Body Art International Convention, taught classes on FABATV, and has won many cosplay convention competitions. She is a Master Pro Makeup Artistry graduate and currently teaches Cosplay and assists in the special effects program.
Charisma (Chris DiSario)
Charisma is a makeup artist specializing in transformation currently based out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Charisma began her career in the entertainment industry as a singer and showcased her talent on American Idol, Americas Got Talent, and The Voice. She has done Commercials, and Advertising Print for Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Glee, Rupaul’s Drag Race, OutClique Magazine and HotSpots Magazine. Charisma has worked with Celebrities including Lady A, Jo Dee Messina, Lonestar, Nina Flowers, Jesse Ridgway, Fynn Farrell, oneUP, and Ada Vox. Currently she is Owner/Operator of Dripping in Charisma (www.CharismaAdore.com), providing makeup & costuming services. She is a Cosmix graduate.
Dustin Anderson
Dustin is a Special FX and Character Makeup Artist. He studied at the Fort Lauderdale Art Institute in 2001 and began his career as a professional photographer. In 2008, he created Cosmix’s photography studio and for over 10 years has helped students build their professional portfolios. In 2012, he attended the DAVE School (Digital Animation & Visual Effects) at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida where he studied VFX (Visual FX for Film). His first animated film won “Best Animated Short” at the Central Film Festival in 2014.
He teaches Special FX students how to make prosthetic appliances and guides Character students through Injury Simulation, plunging them into a cinematic setting as they craft a compelling scene. During post-production, he enhances the footage with visual effects and creates captivating movie posters to add to students’ portfolios.
Nikki Oxley
Nikki specializes in Runway/High Fashion Editorial/Print/and Events. She was a Pro Makeup Artist for ‘Sephora USA’ and part of their Elite ‘Pro Beauty Team. She was also a part of the Managerial Team USA for the British Makeup Brand ILLAMASQUA & URBAN DECAY Cosmetics USA. Her work as been featured in Vogue, and numerous other International magazines. She has worked with Designers such as Fendi and Roberto Cavalli. She has been key artist for many runway shows including Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, NY and Miami, and Miami International Fashion Week, and Funkshion Miami Swim Week.
Stephanie Colorado
Stephanie is a Makeup Artist and Licensed Skin Care Specialist with over 10 years experience. She specializes in noninvasive skin treatments; facials, dermaplaning, facial massage, and lash application. She also specializes in Bridal and Event makeup services throughout South Florida. Stephanie also has an Associates of Art degree in Graphic design. Using her passion for beauty, skin care and design, she is able to create branding and packaging for skin care companies and more.
Daniela Cordoba
Daniela is a production makeup artist and Cosmix graduate. She works in film and television in South Florida. She began her professional career as lead makeup artist for a modeling & talent agency. She then went on to be Director of FABATV (Face & Body Art Television) where she managed and produced an online educational platform with 90 face and body art pro artists from around the world.
She has worked on many films, TV commercials, and over 70 music videos with International platinum recording artists. Her credits include Cirque Du Soleil, Covergirl, The Today Show, Red Stone, and Blood Orange.

Carol Raskin
Carol, a Miami, Florida native, has been a global hair/wig and makeup artist for over 35 years. She has worked in the theater, film, television, advertising and video markets. Carol has been a member of the IATSE Local 798 for over 25 years. She has created all types of hair designs from past to present, using wigs, braids and accessories tailored to each client. She has worked on many Hallmark TV series including South Beach Love with William Levy and Taylor Cole and A Taste of Love with Jesse Kove, Martin Kove and Erin Cahill. She was Hair Department Head on the film Fear of Rain with Kathrine Heigl and Harry Connick Jr. Her client list also includes Willem Dafoe, Olympia Dukakis, Kelly Clarkson, Bryan Cranston, Ariana Greenblatt, Taylor Paige, Morgan Fairchild, Joan Rivers, and Dennis Hopper.
Master Students Learn SFX Makeup
The COOLEST projects involve special makeup effects or SFX!
After mastering makeup techniques for Beauty, Fashion, and Film & Television, Master students immerse themselves in SFX Makeup. This allows them to not only work on a production, but to work in a Special FX Makeup Lab building projects for film, television and theatrical productions, haunted houses, toy or video game productions and theme parks
